Programme

As a coach, you dream of people like Rob walking through your door.

He is an outstanding young man, and trains with me two times a week. He is physically strong and has developed fearsome punch power.

We have have a plan that accentuates Rob’s athleticism and physical attributes.

Rob supplements his boxing with strength training away from the gym. We work on boxing-specific conditioning, focusing on explosive strength and muscular endurance.

    • A tailored programme of pad drills to compliment Rob’s physical attributes and skills

    • Heavy bag work for muscular endurance, power and punch technique

    • Floor-to-ceiling ball and speed bag work to develop punch accuracy and timing

  • Conditioning programme including:

    • Kettle bells

    • Maces

    • Steel clubs

    • Sand bags

    • Aerobic conditioning.

    • Anaerobic conditioning (air bike, battle ropes, etc)

  • To develop:

    • ring craft

    • mobility

    • head movement

    • hand speed

    • fast-twitch counter punching
